Job summary

Unipart’s Transport team is seeking a Transport Controller (Nights) at East Midlands Gateway to oversee routing, scheduling, and performance reporting. You will plan routes, coordinate inbound and outbound movements, and manage POD documentation while liaising with engineers and customers to resolve discrepancies.

You will support the Transport Supervisor to sustain service levels during peak periods and ensure accurate data entry, contributing to safety and efficiency in a fast-paced

  • Previous experience in transport, distribution, or a 3PL environment.
  • Strong administrative skills with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Transport Controller (Nights)

£32,268.00 per annum, plus 12.5%-25% shift premiums, plus 33 days holiday (including bank holidays), pension, bonus, life assurance, employee assistance programme, wellbeing support, and flexible benefits including cycle to work scheme

About The Role

As a Transport Controller, you will provide vital operational support through delivery planning and performance reporting. You will be responsible for planning routes, liaising with engineers, and resolving discrepancies, including POD management. Additionally, you will support the Transport Supervisor to ensure service levels are maintained during peak periods. Please note that shift flexibility is essential for this night shift role.

As Part Of Your Key Responsibilities You’ll
