Job summary

Staffline is recruiting a Transport Clerk to work in Kettering (NN14). The role includes planning with Microlise, despatching and debriefing drivers, and maintaining rota and holiday schedules. Overtime is paid after 40 hours.

The position offers weekly pay, full training, and on-site parking within a busy transport office environment. Flexibility is required, with a rotating 5-on/2-off shift pattern and weekend duties in the rota.

Job description

Staffline is recruiting for a Transport Clerk to work in Kettering (NN14)

The pay is £15.55 per hour.

The shift pattern is any 5 out of 7, rotating 0600-1400 and 1400-2200

Overtime applicable after 40 hours is £23.33 per hour.

Flexibility will be required, weekends are within the Rota shift pattern.

Your Time at Work

As a Transport Clerk, you will work in the site office with the transport team and undertake the following duties:

• Use of Microlise for Planning and Scheduling
• Despatch and debrief of drivers
• Collation of statistical information for reporting
• Staff Rotas and Holidays
• Compliance

Our Perfect Worker

Our ideal Transport Clerk will have excellent telephone skills and be computer literate.

You will be able to enter data into the relevant system and experience of using Excel spreadsheets. Strong attention to detail and Comfortable in a pressurised environment.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience within the Transport industry but this is not essential.
