Job summary

R&V Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Transport Clerk - Analysis to join the Analyst team in a fast-paced transport operation in Hinckley. The role focuses on identifying late causes of late hub inbound arrivals and supporting data-driven improvements.

Working patterns include shifts 08:30-17:00 and 20:30-05:00, with temp-to-perm potential. You will interrogate in-house systems, compile data, and provide administration support while upholding company values of passion, respect, honesty, flexibility,

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced operation, ideally in transport.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with people at all levels.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Excellent computer skills with Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

• Interrogate multiple in-house systems to track delays and identify late causes.
• Compile and summarise data from multiple sources to establish root causes and inputs into the system.

Shift pattern Monday to Friday:

08:30 - 17:00

20:30 - 05:00

The role of a Transport Clerk - Analysis

You will be part of the Analyst team and will be responsible for identifying late reasons of late hub inbound arrivals.

Key Tasks/Areas of Responsibility

• Interrogating multiple inhouse systems to establish tracking history of the potential points of delays
• Compiling and summarising data acquired from multiple sources to establish root cause of the delays and their input into the system
• General administrative duties such as answering telephone queries, emails, chat or in person
• Assisting the Transport Analysts and Transport Manager - Systems with any further administration

• You will preferably have experience in a fast-paced operation ideally in a transport setting.
• You will have strong communication skills with the ability to communicate with people at all levels.
• Demonstrate excellent time management and organisational skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines.
• Excellent computer skills with the ability to use Google Workspace applications.
