Job Title: Trasport and Production Controller

Salary: £38,000 - £40,000 (DOE)

Contract type: Permanent

About the Role

Our client is looking for an organised and proactive Transport & Production Controller to ensure their production workflow and deliveries run seamlessly. In this role, you'll be central to day-to-day operations/planning schedules, coordinating transport, and keeping everything on track. This position is available due to a long-standing team member moving on after seven years.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and manage daily production schedules
  • Coordinate transport runs and liaise with workshop teams, drivers, and customers
  • Maintain smooth operations by identifying and resolving issues as they arise
  • Track job progress, costs, and delivery performance
  • Support safe, efficient working practices and contribute to a positive team environment
What We’re Looking For
  • 3+ years of experience in production scheduling, transport coordination, or a similar operational role
  • Strong communication skills and a naturally organised approach
  • Confident using IT systems (Excel or similar planning tools)
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and think on your feet
  • Full UK driving licence
