Job summary

GXO Logistics is hiring a Transport Administrator for the Sainsbury's site in Charlton, Thameside. The role covers night shifts (18:00–06:00) on a weekly rota with a permanent, full-time contract.

You will administer vehicle movements, monitor maintenance, and coordinate repairs while ensuring compliance with regulations. A strong admin background and Excel proficiency are important for success.

Qualifications

• Experience in transport/warehouse admin.
• Good communication skills (verbal & written).
• Understanding of Drivers Working Time Directive and EU Regulations.
• Strong administration skills with high attention to detail.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Administer the movements of vehicles on a timely and accurate manner.
• Monitor vehicle maintenance details to ensure legal compliance.
• Coordinate and support repair and maintenance of the vehicles.
• Undertake activities in line with company requirements and service agreements.
