Job summary

WS Solutions is looking for an organised and proactive Transport Administrator to join our team in Lutterworth. You will provide vital administrative support to the transport operation, ensuring documentation is completed accurately and drivers receive the support they need.

This role offers a 4 on 4 off shift (18:00–02:00) with on-site parking and ongoing training in a busy, team‑focused depot environment.

Qualifications

• Previous administration experience in transport or logistics is desirable but not essential.
• Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Confident with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Outlook and Word.
• Strong communication and customer service abilities.
• Ability to prioritise workload and work under pressure.
• Positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to learn.
• Able to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Providing day-to-day administrative support to the transport team.
• Maintaining accurate driver and vehicle records.
• Processing delivery paperwork and transport documentation.
• Updating internal systems with driver, vehicle and shift information.
• Liaising with drivers, customers and internal departments.
• Assisting with driver onboarding and compliance documentation.
• Supporting the planning team with transport administration.
• Filing, scanning and maintaining electronic records.
• Answering telephone and email enquiries professionally.
• Ensuring all administrative tasks are completed accurately and within deadlines.
