Job summary

W Talent is partnering with a well-established logistics organisation in Kingsbury to recruit for a Location Transport Administrator who will support driver and vehicle management and maintain compliance across the operation.

The role focuses on record-keeping, audits and safety requirements within a busy transport environment, offering a collaborative, detail-focused position in a growing team.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience within transport, logistics or fleet administration.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Knowledge of health & safety requirements.
  • Understanding of road transport legislation and digital tachographs.
  • Strong administrative and record-keeping skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with drivers.
  • Confidence communicating information relating to driving performance, legal compliance and operational standards.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to compliance.
  • Experience within a bulk tanker environment would be highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Work alongside the scheduling team to plan, manage and adjust driver and vehicle resourcing levels.
  • Support the achievement of key operational targets, including health & safety, cost, efficiency and compliance.
  • Assist with internal and external audits.
  • Ensure compliance with company and legislative health & safety policies and procedures.
  • Investigate accidents and incidents and maintain accurate H&S training records.
  • Deliver regular health & safety briefings and ensure site noticeboards contain current and relevant information.
  • Ensure work equipment is maintained in a safe and serviceable condition and required safety checks are completed.
  • Escalate vehicle damage and relevant operational issues to management.
  • Maintain accurate vehicle tachograph and engineering records, including Tachomaster and relevant operational registers.
  • Ensure compliance with company SOPs.
  • Work closely with maintenance providers to support ongoing vehicle compliance.
  • Maintain accurate driver licence and vocational licence records.
  • Monitor and maintain driver training records.
  • Support holiday management and ensure drivers are kept informed of their remaining entitlement.
  • Support absence management processes, including welfare visits and review meetings where required.
  • Support employee communication and engagement initiatives, including toolbox talks and employee surveys.
  • Carry out any other reasonable duties as required by the Line Manager.

Transport Administrator

W Talent is delighted to be partnering with a well-established and growing organisation within the logistics and supply chain sector. We are currently recruiting for an experienced Location Transport Administrator to join their team in Kingsbury.

Working as part of a busy transport operation, you will provide administration and operational support across driver engagement, vehicle compliance, health & safety and overall site performance.

This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and detail-focused transport professional to join a busy operational environment and play an important role in maintaining high standards of compliance, safety and efficiency.

The Role

As a Location Transport Administrator, you will work closely with the scheduling and operational teams to support the effective management of drivers and vehicles. About You

The successful candidate will ideally have:
