Job summary

Fuel Drivers UK Ltd is seeking a Transport Administrator to join our team in Costessey. You will handle general administration, support the Transport Management team, and ensure Health and Safety standards are met.

You will manage daily transport paperwork, communicate with planning about delays, and act as the main contact for customer enquiries. You will use the Transport Management System and help supervise drivers' hours and tachographs.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of driver's hours and WTD.
• Effective communication with customer, suppliers and colleagues.
• Able to work under pressure whilst maintaining a professional attitude.
• Must have a flexible approach and be willing to carry out varied tasks positively, reliably and accurately.
• An excellent team player, able to work on own initiative and make decisions.
• Good general PC skills.
• Working knowledge of Transport Management Systems would be advantageous although full training will be given

Responsibilities

• General administration duties in-line with Transport legislation, company policy and procedures
• To work with, assist, and report to the Transport Management team

• Primary point of contact for customer enquiries / changes to schedule, ensuring these are logged accurately
• Utilising the Transport Management System
• Managing drivers' hours, infringements and control of Tachographs
• Managing and controlling sub-contraction requirement.
• Assist with the management of vehicle defects through the VOR process
