Job summary

Watts Farms Fresh Produce Holdings Ltd in Aylesford is recruiting a Transport Administrator to join our busy Transport Department on a full-time, permanent basis. The position is based at Unit 14 Quarry Wood Industrial Estate, Mills Road, ME20 7NA, with hours 08:00–17:00, Monday to Friday, and a salary of £28,644.30 per annum.

You will provide professional admin support to the Transport office, conduct driver debriefs, maintain transport documentation, book servicing, manage consumables stock,

Qualifications

• Reliable and professional with strong attention to detail.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organised with the ability to prioritise.
• Computer literacy including Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a professional, fast and efficient administration service to the Transport office.
• Conduct driver debriefs and maintain transport documentation.
• Book vehicles in for servicing and maintenance.
• Manage stock levels of consumables and reusable tray inventory.
• Answer and resolve telephone and email queries.
• Collaborate with the Fleet Administrator to ensure Working Time Directive compliance.
• Liaise with customers and the customer service team to resolve queries.
• Ad-hoc administrative tasks supporting the department and office function.
• Communicate with drivers to track deliveries and gather ETA information.

Job Title: Transport Administrator

Location: Unit 14 Quarry Wood Industrial Estate, Mills Road, Aylesford, ME20 7NA

Salary: £28,644.30 per annum

Are you an efficient, experienced Transport Administrator looking for a new opportunity? We are seeking a strong administrator to join our busy Transport Department at our site in Aylesford on a full time, permanent basis.

Hours for the Transport Administrator role will be 08:00 – 17:00 Monday to Friday.

You will be working on a full time, permanent basis and in return will receive a salary of £28,644.30 per annum!

What does the job involve?

• Delivering a professional, fast and efficient administration service to the Transport office.
• Conducting driver debriefs.
• Maintaining accurate and up to date transport documentation and reports.
• Booking vehicles in for servicing and maintenance.
• Managing stock levels of consumables and the reusable tray inventory.
• Answering and resolving telephone & email queries.
• Collaboratively working with the Fleet Administrator tracking and ensuring compliance with the Working Time Directive.
• Liaising with customers and the customer service team to resolve queries.
• Ad-hoc administrative tasks supporting the department and office function.
• Communication with drivers to track the completion of deliveries and collections and to gather information on request such as ETA’s

• Previous experience in Transport/Logistics is desirable but not essential
