Job summary

The Transition and Inclusion Coordinator at Burnley College Sixth Form Centre will work with the Additional Learning Support Manager to ensure a comprehensive ALS service. You will coordinate learners' transitions from school to college and develop experiences to help SEN learners settle into college life.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above required.
• Hold or be working toward an appropriate SEN qualification.
• Excellent communication, organisation and planning skills.
• High-level Microsoft Office skills and knowledge of ALS data systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the transition of learners from schools to College.
• Develop experiences to aid SEN learners settling into College life.
• Ensure a high-quality experience for students with high needs.
• Develop and maintain robust data systems for accurate records.
• Utilise SEND Practitioners and pastoral mentors effectively.
• Collaborate with students, staff, parents/carers, schools and external agencies.
