Job summary

Randstad Education in Bradford is seeking a dedicated Teacher of Science to start in September 2026. You will teach General Science to Key Stage 3 and 4, with potential delivery of Biology, Chemistry or Physics up to Key Stage 5 for eligible candidates, designing differentiated lessons and promoting a safe, interactive lab learning environment.

The role requires QTS, a valid DBS, and knowledge of the UK National Curriculum and GCSE specifications.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent UK teaching qualification.
• Knowledge of UK National Curriculum and GCSE Science specifications.
• Full-time eligibility to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Science lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
• Assess and report pupil progress across Key Stages 3 and 4; support SEND learners.
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and effective classroom management.
• Conduct safe, hands-on laboratory experiments following COSHH guidelines.
• Support GCSE preparation and act as a Form Tutor with pastoral duties.
