Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching KS3 and KS4 Science, including GCSE if possible.
• Strong commitment to pupil progress and high teaching standards.
• Excellent communication and relationships with students.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality Science lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Differentiate lessons to meet diverse learning needs.
• Prepare students for GCSE examinations and develop exam technique.
• Incorporate practical investigations to strengthen understanding of concepts.
• Use assessment and data to monitor progress and inform planning.
• Collaborate with department colleagues on resources and schemes of work.
• Support wider student development and uphold safeguarding policies.
