You will lead people-focused change initiatives across departments, shaping how services are delivered to communities.

The role emphasizes practical delivery of changes, not IT or construction projects, with opportunities for professional development and a flexible working model.

• Proven transformation experience: track record delivering organisational change.
• Exceptional people skills: ability to engage colleagues at all levels.
• Strong hands-on project management: building and managing detailed schedules.
• Genuine passion for improvement and finding better ways of working.
• Resilience and adaptability in changing environments.
• Practical problem-solving with structured approaches.
• Strong communication and collaboration across teams.
• Experience using project planning software and managing risks/budgets.
• PRINCE2 or APM qualifications welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Lead transformation and business improvement projects from initial planning through to successful implementation.
• Build strong relationships across departments, creating shared ownership of change.
• Develop detailed project schedules from scratch, identifying workstreams, milestones, resources and dependencies.
• Actively managing project delivery, identifying potential delays and taking practical action to keep things on track.
• Challenging existing processes, assumptions and ways of working constructively, always looking for better solutions.
• Managing project risks, budgets, governance, reporting and benefits realisation.
• Collaborating with senior stakeholders to maintain momentum and deliver shared objectives.
• Ensuring projects deliver meaningful, lasting improvements.
