Job summary

Liverpool City Council is seeking a Project and Programme Officer to join the Transformation Team on a permanent basis. You will help deliver the transformation portfolio, maintain governance and supports across programmes to improve services for residents.

Working with Project & Change Managers, Programme Managers and PMO colleagues, you will provide management information, track risks, and embed new ways of working across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Candidates should demonstrate strong organisational skills and ability to work across multiple priorities.
• Experience supporting governance processes and managing project documentation is desirable.
• Good communication and stakeholder engagement abilities are essential.

Responsibilities

• Support the successful delivery of transformation projects, programmes and portfolio activities.
• Maintain project and programme documentation and support governance processes.
• Monitor risks, issues and actions and coordinate stakeholder engagement activities.
• Provide practical support to delivery teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with PMO colleagues and Change Managers to enable informed decisions.
