Job summary

North Somerset Council is seeking a Transformation Project Manager to lead a portfolio of change initiatives in Weston-super-Mare. You will coordinate multi-stakeholder workstreams, analyse complex data and drive service redesign to realise benefits for children, families and communities.

You will manage timelines, risks and governance, ensuring delivery on time and within scope, while building strong partnerships across local services and external agencies.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level or equivalent, or significant relevant experience in project management/transformation.
• Experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders and tight timescales.
• Knowledge of project governance, risk management and performance monitoring.
• Experience supporting organisational change and service redesign.
• Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder influence.

Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of transformation and change projects with defined outcomes, timescales and benefits.
• Design, develop and implement service improvement and redesign programmes.
• Conduct research, analysis and evaluation to inform project development and benefits realisation.
• Create project plans, risk registers, governance and reporting for delivery.
• Build relationships with council partners, education, health and social care sectors.
