Job summary

Gentoo Group Limited is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join the Transformation/PMO team on a fixed-term maternity cover contract. The role is based at Doxford Park, Sunderland, with a 36-hour week, early finish Fridays, and a hybrid work model combining office and home working.

You will work with IT and Business projects to drive change and improve customer experiences. You will collaborate with PMs, Business Analysts and Test Specialists and contribute to governance and delivery

Qualifications

• Degree qualified with recognised project management or change management qualification.
• Experience managing a range of complex IT and Business projects with multiple work streams.
• Proven delivery of projects on time with defined time/cost/quality outcomes.
• Demonstrable experience in change management as part of project delivery.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage interdependencies.

Responsibilities

• Deliver IT and Business projects using Agile/Waterfall/Hybrid methodologies.
• Focus on Change and Transformation.
• Mobilise projects in line with the Group’s PMO framework and governance.
• Ensure successful project execution: planning, risk management and audit trail.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to meet scope, schedule and budget.
• Communicate project status and risks to stakeholders in a timely manner.
