Job summary

Responsibilities

• Review current catering operations across the contract.
• Analyse end-to-end food delivery processes, from order placement through to customer receipt.
• Compare existing practices against the target operating model and contractual commitments.
• Develop and implement transformation plans aligned to business objectives.
• Identify and deliver operational improvements across food quality, safety, performance, cost efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
• Lead change initiatives, embedding new ways of working through effective communication, engagement, and education.
• Build strong relationships with operational teams, stakeholders, clients, and external parties, using data and evidence to influence decision‑making.
• Manage transformation programmes from concept to implementation, monitoring KPIs, risks, dependencies, budgets, and resources.

The role will focus on improving operational efficiency, workforce effectiveness, service quality, customer experience, financial performance, and scalability, while ensuring alignment with contractual commitments and the target operating model., We are looking for a transformation professional who can independently review current catering operations, identify opportunities for improvement, and drive sustainable change across hospital catering services.

This role will lead transformation activity from assessment through to implementation within a six-month fixed-term contract.
