Job summary

At Babcock's Devonport Royal Dockyard site in Plymouth, we seek a Business Improvement Manager to lead transformation, drive continuous improvement and deliver sustainable change across the organisation.

You will lead a team of improvement professionals, coach leaders, and collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities, manage resources and deliver major programmes that boost performance and efficiency in UK defence operations.

Qualifications

• Degree-level qualification in a relevant discipline, or equivalent career-based knowledge and experience.
• Demonstrable expertise within a recognised business improvement discipline.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt.

Responsibilities

• Leading, supporting and developing Business Improvement professionals across project management, change management, business analysis and Lean disciplines.
• Coaching and mentoring team members to build capability and support career development.
• Delivering business improvement and transformation initiatives that support strategic objectives.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to identify opportunities, solve business challenges and implement sustainable change.
• Managing resources, priorities and performance to ensure successful delivery of improvement activities.
