Job summary

Babcock is seeking a Business Improvement Manager at its Devonport Royal Dockyard site in Plymouth. This full-time, permanent role sits within the Transformation function and focuses on driving continuous improvement and business transformation across the organisation.

Day-to-day, you will lead BI specialists, influence major transformation initiatives, and collaborate with leaders and programme teams to deliver sustainable change that supports strategic and operational objectives.

Qualifications

• Degree-level qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent career-based knowledge.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of BI professionals across project management, change management, business analysis and Lean disciplines.
• Coach and mentor team members to build capability and support career progression.
• Deliver business improvement and transformation initiatives that support strategic objectives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities, solve business challenges and implement sustainable change.
• Manage resources, priorities and performance to ensure successful delivery of improvement activities.
