Job summary

The role requires building strong relationships, promoting safety, and supporting education, health and independence for young people in our care. Training and progression are central to the opportunity.

Qualifications

• Experience with children or young people in care, education or similar support roles.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to build trust with children.
• Must have a full UK driving licence and be comfortable driving as part of your role.

Responsibilities

• Build positive, trusting relationships with children.
• Create a safe, structured and nurturing home environment.
• Support children with education, health and wellbeing.
• Encourage independence, confidence and resilience.
• Help children access new experiences and opportunities.
• Support children to express their wishes, feelings and aspirations.
• Use trauma-informed approaches to support emotional wellbeing.
• Collaborate with Managers, Therapists and other teams to achieve positive outcomes.
