Wilderness Way is seeking a Residential Support Worker to provide stability and nurturing care for children in our homes. You will build positive relationships, support daily activities, and help children access education and wellbeing resources in a structured home setting.

The role offers progression possibilities to Senior Residential Support Worker and requires a compassionate, resilient approach with a commitment to safeguarding and trauma-informed care.

Qualifications

• Experience with children, young people or vulnerable individuals.
• Willingness to work towards Level 3 qualification.
• Be 21 or over and eligible to work in the UK.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Build positive, trusting relationships with children.
• Create a safe, structured home environment.
• Support education, health and wellbeing.
• Encourage independence and resilience.
• Work with multidisciplinary teams to achieve outcomes.
• Mentor junior staff at Senior level (if applicable).
