Job summary

SRG (United Kingdom) is seeking a Transfer Station Manager in Suffolk to lead daily site operations, drive safety, efficiency and customer service, and manage a team of site personnel.

The role requires COTC and IOSH qualifications, proven experience in transfer stations or similar waste facilities, and strong leadership with commercial awareness. UK work rights are essential.

Qualifications

• COTC and IOSH qualifications are required.
• Experience managing a transfer station, waste facility or similar operational environment.
• Strong leadership and commercial skills, ideally with P&L, transport or logistics experience.
• Full right to work in the UK; no sponsorship available for this role.

Responsibilities

SRG are working with a leading waste management and recycling company who have a long and very successful history of supporting the UK chemical industry. They are now looking for a Transfer Station Manager to join the team. This is a hands-on role within the waste industry, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the site, leading the team and driving improvements across safety, performance and efficiency.
