Job summary

Michael Page is recruiting an experienced Transactional Finance Lead to oversee day-to-day processing of sales and purchase ledgers across multiple entities and supervise a small team. You will report to the Financial Controller and help centralise processes while supporting a new ERP implementation.

The role focuses on leading invoicing and purchase activity, managing AP/AR, completing reconciliations, and driving continuous improvements.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of purchase ledger, sales ledger and bookkeeping principles.
• Experience using accounting software, with Xero knowledge advantageous.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Confident identifying and resolving discrepancies.
• A proactive approach and desire to improve processes.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders across the business.

Responsibilities

Job Offer

Permanent Transactional Finance Lead role.

Salary of £30,000 to £35,000, dependent on the level of experience.
