Michael Page is seeking an experienced transactional finance professional to lead day-to-day processing of sales and purchase ledgers across multiple entities and supervise a small team. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will centralise processes and support the ERP implementation to drive efficiencies.

You will oversee invoices, reconciliations and financial reporting, with a strong emphasis on accuracy, stakeholder communication and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience leading transactional finance and processing across multiple entities.
• Experience with sales ledger and purchase ledger processes.
• Strong Excel and data analysis capabilities.
• Detail-oriented with ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.

Responsabilités

• Lead the processing of sales invoices, purchase orders and purchase invoices across multiple trading entities.

• Complete bank reconciliations and process bank transactions.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced transactional finance professional to lead the day-to-day processing of sales and purchase ledger activities across multiple entities while supervising a small team. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you'll also play a key role in improving and centralising finance processes and supporting the implementation of a new ERP system.

Description

Profile

• Strong understanding of purchase ledger, sales ledger and bookkeeping principles
• Experience using accounting software, with Xero knowledge advantageous
• Advanced Excel skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organisational and time-management skills
• Confident identifying and resolving discrepancies
• A proactive approach and desire to improve processes
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders across the business

Job Offer

• Permanent Transactional Finance Lead role.
• Salary of £30,000 to £35,000, dependent on the level of experience.
