Job summary

Michael Page Finance is seeking an experienced transactional finance lead to manage day-to-day processing of sales and purchase ledgers across multiple entities. You will supervise a small team, report to the Financial Controller, and contribute to centralising finance processes as part of an ERP implementation.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of purchase and sales ledgers and bookkeeping.
• Experience with accounting software; Xero knowledge advantageous.
• Advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead processing of sales invoices, purchase orders and invoices across multiple entities.
• Oversee and support a transactional finance team member.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Complete bank reconciliations and process bank transactions.
• Investigate and resolve financial discrepancies.
• Produce transactional finance reports and analysis.
• Maintain accurate financial records and databases.
• Assist with ERP implementation and embedding improved processes.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced transactional finance professional to lead the day-to-day processing of sales and purchase ledger activities across multiple entities while supervising a small team. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you'll also play a key role in improving and centralising finance processes and supporting the implementation of a new ERP system.

Description
