Job summary

Investec is seeking a Head of Transactional Banking Technology to build and lead a dedicated engineering squad for Corporate Transactional Banking in the UK. You will own the end‑to‑end delivery roadmap, ensure robust, scalable features on the core banking platform, and align with payments, cards, onboarding and client enablement teams.

• Proven ability to lead engineering squads and partner with business stakeholders.
• Experience with API‑driven architectures, cloud and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead the Corporate Transactional Banking engineering squad.
• Own delivery roadmap for transactional banking features on core banking platform.
• Drive architecture decisions, quality, testing, release management and operational readiness.
• Embed AI‑enabled tooling to improve engineering productivity and client journeys.
• Collaborate with payments, channels, onboarding, and servicing teams across locations.
