Job summary

GB Bank, based in London, seeks a Head of Technology Operations & Service Delivery to lead the technology service portfolio, ensuring resilience, control, and scalable operations. You will oversee cloud, end‑user tech, and supplier governance, embedding automation and AI-driven improvements.

The role collaborates with engineering, cyber, risk, and compliance to balance growth with risk management, reporting to executive levels within a regulated bank environment.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience in IT service delivery, technology operations, or a comparable function.
• Experience in a UK bank, financial services firm or another highly regulated environment.
• Strong practical knowledge of ITIL-based service management and major incident leadership.
• Experience managing cloud and infrastructure services, end-user technology and material outsourced arrangements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the reliable, secure and efficient operation of technology services across the Bank, ensuring resilience and customer outcomes.
• Define service levels, incident and change management, and governance across technology services.
• Oversee cloud governance, FinOps and supplier relationships to balance cost and risk.
• Drive automation, observability, and service transition for new and changed services.
