What you will do:
• You will project manage the deal execution process for complex transactions; the majority of which will be LMA based.
• You will take personal responsibility for ensuring an excellent customer experience and ensure that transactions are completed in timescales driven by our customers.
• You will support Transaction Managers in proactively managing internal and external partners in the negotiation of LMA facility letters through to drawdown and completion process.
• You will act as an expert on all documentation, security and legal due diligence queries relating to corporate and commercial lending applications.
• You will be responsible for providing proactive solutions to lending deals that snag, achieve Credit acceptance on relevant issues and influence our colleagues in the right way to make the right decision.
• You will be a senior point of reference to deal execution and knowledge of documentation and security.

What you will need:
• You will be able to understand financial analysis to understand company performance and complex corporate structures.
• Detailed knowledge of LMA (Loan Market Association) documentation including ability to understand and negotiate LMA documentation.
• A thorough understanding of legal documentation in respect of commercial lending.
• Lending & credit experience.
• Ability to analyse complex corporate structures & report to Credit Risk, Legal & Relationship Managers.
• You will be familiar with UK Property, Banking and Corporate law.
• Ability to assess, analyse and provide suggested solutions to take deals (trading, development and investment) forward so that the Relationship Director is free to move on to the next deal.
• Dealing with issues around statutory requirements and finding solutions to move towards satisfaction & draw down.
• Managing multiple stakeholders and clients always providing creative solutions to complex issues whilst protecting the bank from loss (financial, regulatory or reputational).
• Present all conditions precedent for sign off.
• Robust knowledge of Loan Market Association documentation – predominantly bilateral, although syndicated/leveraged finance an advantage.
• Help build processes and policies for the team – this is a revolution.
