Job summary

Blackpool Transport Services Limited is hiring a Tram Driver-Conductor based at Starr Gate Depot. The role combines driving and conductor duties to deliver a safe, reliable service along the seafront extension to Blackpool North Station.

You’ll engage with passengers, manage boards/alarms and ensure smooth operations. The role requires a full UK driving licence, 21+ years, PCV medical pass and a 7-week training programme.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• 21 years of age or older with 12 months driving experience.
• Ability to pass PCV medical and assessments.
• Commitment to a 7-week training programme.
• Safety-first mindset and customer service focus.

Responsibilities

• Comply with training, policies and safety procedures.
• Conduct passengers boarding/alighting and driver duties.
• Drive vehicles safely, keeping schedules and safety priorities.
• Manage incidents and service disruptions with care.
• Issue tickets and handle revenue securely.
• Assist customers with disabilities and maintain service quality.
