Altro Ltd in Letchworth is recruiting a Training Centre Assistant to support the day-to-day running of our Training Centre. You’ll help set up courses, assist learners in the classroom, and contribute to practical product training at our Hertfordshire HQ.

No prior flooring experience is required as training will be provided. You’ll join a collaborative team, five days a week, and gain hands-on skills while developing your career.

Qualifications

• No flooring or walling experience required; training provided.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Full UK driving licence and live within commuting distance of Letchworth HQ.

Responsabilités

• Learn as You Go: Help with product installation training and hands-on experience with Altro products.
• Support Training: Assist in training contractors on how to install our products to the highest standards.
• Health & Safety: Help keep the Training Centre and equipment safe and tidy.
• Organize & Maintain: Monitor tools and stock levels, and assist with ordering materials for the training school.
• Course Setup: Help set up and break down training courses, making sure everything runs smoothly for learners.

We’re now looking for a full time, permanent Training CentreAssistant to join us and learn the ropes, helping to deliver training and demonstrations, while building valuable skills along the way. This is a full time, permanent role, based 5 days a week at our Letchworth Garden City, Hertfordshire HQ.

What You’ll Be Doing

This is a great chance for someone with a basic floor laying background to expand their knowledge or skill set or someone with no experience and a passion to learn, to dive in and start learning a new trade.

As a Training CentreAssistant, you’ll get to work closely with our experienced team and support the day-to-day running of our Training Centre. From setting up courses and helping with practical training sessions and assisting learners in the classroom with the theoretical aspects of installing our products, you’ll be gaining hands-on experience every day.

Your Day-to-Day:

• Health & Safety: Help keep the Training Centreand equipment safe and tidy – no experience needed, just a willingness to learn the ropes.

What We’re Looking For

You don’t need to have any experience in flooring or walling installations to apply. We’re looking for someone who’s eager to learn, works well in a team, and is ready to get stuck in!

You’ll Need:

• A genuine interest in learning a new trade and working with your hands.

• Strong communication skills and a willingness to work closely with others.

• A good attitude and the ability to take on responsibility.

• A full UK driving licence and live within a commutable distance of our Letchworth Garden City, Hertfordshire HQ where our Training Centreis based.

• A good level of basic computer literacy.
