Cityscape Recruitment is seeking a Training Manager for a Central London office. You will be responsible for booking, tracking, and coordinating all company training, including apprenticeship programmes, for project teams.
The ideal candidate has UK construction industry training experience (CSCS, CPCS) and lives within commuting distance to London; the role is office-based with a generous package including car allowance, private health care and a company pension scheme.
Our privately owned client is a leading name within the enabling works industry that prides themselves on their excellent reputation to deliver projects within budget and to programme, whilst always maintaining high standards and quality. They are a professional, technically minded and modern contractor who have proven success of operating primarily as principle contractor on their projects throughout Central London. Much of their work is secured due to repeat business and package values range up to 20M. As a multifaceted contractor, their core areas of expertise include demolition and dismantling, temporary works, fa ade retention, structural alterations and substructure packages and current turnover stands in excess of 100M.
My client is currently recruiting permanently for a Training Manager to be based from their office in Central London. As a Training Manager, you will be accountable for booking, tracking, facilitating and coordinating all company training and will be responsible for assisting with apprenticeship programmes, booking training courses for project teams, tracking operatives training through the company online portal and assisting in developing grant and levy claims.
Due to the specialist nature of works, my client is requiring a professional who has worked as a Training Manager whilst employed by a construction company in the UK. It is imperative you have a good understanding of training requirements within the construction industry (e.g CSCS, CPCS etc), hold knowledge of the various positions carried out on site and live within commutable distance from London (as this is an office based role).
For this permanent opportunity, my client is targeting professionals looking to earn anywhere from 53,000 - 57,000 per annum however there may be flexibility on this as the specific salary will depend on experience and suitability.
Furthermore, there will be a generous package offered which includes a car allowance, private health care, and enrolment on to the company pension scheme.
