Job summary

OA are recruiting for a Training Manager to lead the planning, delivery and continuous improvement of the professional training function at our client's skincare technology business in Elstree. You will oversee calendar, course delivery and development of training materials, ensuring high standards for therapists and customers.

The role demands leadership, strong organisational skills and a background in beauty therapy or medical aesthetics, with office-based hours Mon-Fri, 9am-5:30pm, salary

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing professional training, education or technical instruction.
• Experience leading, coaching or supervising trainers or educators.
• Strong background in beauty therapy, aesthetics, skincare, medical aesthetics or related field.
• Hands-on training and competency assessment experience.
• Excellent presentation, communication and facilitation skills.
• Strong organisation and attention to detail to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience developing training materials, lesson plans and assessments.
• Confident working with customers, senior management and internal teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM or learning systems.
• Willingness to travel occasionally and work flexibly when required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the professional training strategy, calendar, course planning and delegate experience.
• Manage and develop the training team, ensuring consistent standards, coaching and performance.
• Oversee system, advanced, refresher and specialist training programmes.
• Deliver and support practical and theoretical training, ensuring effective assessment and certification.
• Develop and maintain training materials, assessments and digital learning resources.
• Ensure training content aligns with approved protocols, product claims, safety and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate training records and oversee certification, compliance, audits and training equipment.
• Work with Sales and Customer Success to support customer onboarding, development and advanced training.
• Build strong relationships with customers and therapists, using feedback to improve the training experience.
• Collaborate with Quality, Regulatory, NPD, Technical Support, Marketing and Operations teams.
• Lead practical testing of new products, devices and treatment technologies ahead of launch.
• Support the development, testing and validation of new treatment protocols and treatment sequences.
• Identify training, safety, usability and competency risks and recommend improvements.
• Research new technologies and market trends to support product and treatment development.

Our client is a leading provider of professional skincare technology, treatment systems and skincare products to salons, spas and aesthetic clinics.

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Training Manager to lead the planning, delivery and continuous improvement of the professional training function. You will ensure customers and therapists receive consistently high standards of technical and practical training, overseeing the training calendar, course delivery and development of training materials.

The successful candidate will combine strong leadership and organisational skills with credible experience in beauty therapy, aesthetics, skincare, professional education or a related technical environment.

Location: Elstree, Borehamwood
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am-5:30pm. Office based.
Salary: £50,000-£55,000
