Job summary

OA Group is seeking a Training Manager for a client in Elstree, Borehamwood to lead planning, delivery and continuous improvement of the training function. You will ensure high standards of technical and practical training for customers and therapists, over see the calendar and development of materials.

The role requires leadership, solid organisational skills and experience in beauty therapy, aesthetics or related education. Office-based, Mon-Fri 9:00–17:30, with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing professional training, education or technical instruction (Essential).
• Experience leading, coaching or supervising trainers or educators (Essential).
• Strong background in beauty therapy, aesthetics, skincare, medical aesthetics or a related field (Essential).
• Hands-on training and competency assessment experience (Essential).
• Excellent presentation, communication and facilitation skills (Essential).
• Organising skills with attention to detail and multi-priority management (Essential).
• Experience developing training materials, lesson plans and assessments (Essential).
• Confident working with customers, senior management and internal teams (Essential).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM/LMS systems (Essential).
• Willing to travel occasionally (Essential).

Responsibilities

• Lead the professional training strategy, calendar, course planning and delegate experience.
• Manage and develop the training team, ensuring consistent standards, coaching and performance.
• Oversee system, advanced, refresher and specialist training programmes.
• Deliver and support practical and theoretical training, ensuring effective assessment and certification.
• Develop and maintain training materials, assessments and digital learning resources.
• Ensure training content aligns with protocols, product claims, safety and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate training records and oversee certification, audits and equipment.
• Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success to support onboarding and development.
• Build strong relationships with customers and therapists; use feedback to improve training.
• Coordinate with Quality, Regulatory, NPD, Technical Support, Marketing and Operations teams.
• Lead testing of new products, devices and treatment technologies ahead of launch.
• Support development, testing and validation of new treatment protocols and sequences.
• Identify training, safety and competency risks and recommend improvements.
• Research new technologies and market trends to support product development.

OA are recruiting for a Training Manager to join our client's growing team.

Our client is a leading provider of professional skincare technology, treatment systems and skincare products to salons, spas and aesthetic clinics.

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Training Manager to lead the planning, delivery and continuous improvement of the professional training function. You will ensure customers and therapists receive consistently high standards of technical and practical training, overseeing the training calendar, course delivery and development of training materials.

The successful candidate will combine strong leadership and organisational skills with credible experience in beauty therapy, aesthetics, skincare, professional education or a related technical environment.

Location: Elstree, Borehamwood

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am-5:30pm. Office based.

Salary: £50,000-£55,000

• Knowledge of aesthetic technologies such as LED, microcurrent, ultrasound or RF (Desirable).
• Relevant beauty, aesthetics, skincare, teaching or assessing qualification (Desirable).
• Experience within a regulated, medical device or quality‑managed environment (Desirable).
• Experience creating digital training content or supporting advanced treatment programmes (Desirable).
• Confident, credible and approachable with an engaging teaching style.
