Job summary

Ipsum Utilities Limited in the United Kingdom is seeking a skilled Technical Trainer to design, deliver, and evaluate training programs for our engineers and technicians. We are seeking a skilled Technical Trainer with expertise in automation and control systems to design, deliver, and evaluate training programs for our engineers and technicians. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of industrial automation technologies, network communication, and protocols, along with excellent communication skills to translate complex concepts into practical learning experiences.

As a Training Engineer you will…

• Create training materials such as manuals, presentations, and hands‑on exercises tailored to different skill levels.
• Train on industrial network communication and protocols, including Ethernet/IP, Modbus, Profibus, Profinet, and TCP/IP.
• Assess trainee performance and provide feedback to ensure competency in system operation and troubleshooting.

Have a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or related field. Proven experience with industrial automation systems (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider, etc.) Strong understanding of control logic, instrumentation, industrial networking, and communication protocols.
