Turning Point Scotland is seeking a Training and Development Officer to cover maternity leave, based in the Central Region with hybrid working and travel to our Govan Road office and services across Scotland.

Turning Point Scotland’s Training and Development team supports more than 40 services across Scotland, helping our colleagues develop the knowledge, confidence and skills they need to provide outstanding support.
We’re looking for a Training and Development Officer to join our team on a maternity cover basis.
This is a varied role with the opportunity to get involved in learning and development across a national social care organisation.
Working alongside our experienced Training and Development team, you’ll help deliver our programme of learning both online and in person, supporting colleagues working across areas including homelessness, mental health, justice, alcohol and other drugs, learning disabilities and complex physical health needs.
You’ll contribute to our training calendar and help us continue developing a skilled, confident workforce. You’ll also have the opportunity to support some exciting developments currently underway, including our new Digital Learning Management System, the rollout of the Access Evo platform and our ongoing leadership development programme.
We’re looking for someone who can bring their own knowledge, skills and ideas to the team. You don’t need to arrive knowing all of our existing programmes – full support and mentoring will be provided.
The role involves travel to services across Scotland. A driving licence and access to a vehicle would be helpful but are not essential.
