At Turning Point Scotland’s Dumfries & Galloway Learning Disabilities Services we have exciting opportunities available for Support Practitioners.
Our Dumfries & Galloway Learning Disabilities Services are located in the following areas: Castle Douglas, Dumfries, Kirkcudbright, Lockerbie and Newton Stewart
Each 24/7 Service supports people with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, on the autistic spectrum & have mental health issues. The hours are varied to meet the needs of each person and will include sleep over shifts (paid at a rate of £107.60 per sleepover!)
Our dedicated Teams encourage the people we support to fulfil their lives with exciting and fun activities, pursue their hobbies and passions, and help create memorable experiences.
Provide tailored support that builds skills, independence and engagement in hobbies.
Deliver support one-to-one, alongside others and as part of a larger team.
Accompany the people we support to community activities, groups, holidays and shopping trips.
Provide personal care with dignity, comfort and wellbeing at heart.
Bring genuine care and commitment to helping people live their best lives.
Be flexible and able to work as part of a rota.
Create joyful experiences, support hobbies and celebrate every achievement.
