Job summary

Allen Associates in Oxford is seeking a Training Coordinator to support busy HR/L&D activities, coordinating induction schedules, mandatory sessions, and onboarding for new colleagues to boost engagement.

You will manage learning inboxes, assist with LMS administration, track completion, and work with subject matter experts to align sessions with business priorities. The role requires strong organisation and client-focused mindset with hybrid working and on-site presence.

Qualifications

  • Must have prior experience supporting busy HR or L&D admin.
  • Excellent time management and discretion with confidential info.
  • Proficient in Word, Outlook and Excel.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management.
  • Experience leading on process improvement.
  • Experience with HRIS and LMS systems, data and reporting.
  • Experience with Zensai, Go One or similar platforms desirable.

Training Coordinator
Training Coordinator Responsibilities

This position will involve, but will not be limited to:

  • Coordinating induction schedules and mandatory learning sessions to support a smooth start for new colleagues and stronger engagement.
  • Managing central learning inboxes and responding to queries to deliver a responsive, customer-focused service for the wider business.
  • Supporting LMS administration, including testing, first-line user support, and basic troubleshooting to keep learning accessible and on track.
  • Tracking learning completion and maintaining accurate trackers and learning logs to support governance and reliable reporting.
  • Liaising with subject matter experts and internal stakeholders to plan sessions and align delivery with business priorities.
  • Identifying process improvements within HR and L&D administration to improve consistency, reduce delays, and raise service quality.
Training Coordinator Rewards
  • Salary up to £35k plus eligibility into a discretionary bonus scheme
  • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, rising by 1 day per year after 5 years service to a maximum of 30 days

Training Coordinator Experience Essentials
  • You must have previous experience supporting a busy HR or learning & development team in an administrative capacity
  • Strong time management and attention to detail, with the ability to handle confidential information
  • Confident with Microsoft Office, especially Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience leading on process improvement processes
  • Experience working with HRIS and LMS systems, data, and reporting - ESSENTIAL
  • Experience with Zensai, Go One or similar learning platforms is desirable
  • Your CV and application must demonstrate experience in L&D and HR, with a proven client-facing mindset and eagerness to interact and connect with all stakeholders across an organisation
Location

You can access the role by public transport or via on-site parking. The role supports hybrid working, with an expectation to attend the office at least 3 days per week and to work across two Oxford based offices. Travel between these sites may be required.
