Job summary

A national training organisation seeks a Training Centre Co-ordinator to manage and maintain training records and provide essential administrative support. The ideal candidate will possess excellent administrative and organisational skills, strong knowledge of MS Office, and the ability to communicate effectively. This role offers a salary of £28,000 – £30,000 per year with excellent benefits, allowing for remote work with some required travel. The successful applicant will support the daily operations of the Transportation Training Centre.

Responsibilities

  • Manage training records for staff, trainers, and assessors.
  • Support operations in promoting accredited training.
  • Prepare for centre audits and standardisation meetings.
  • Generate accurate reports covering key metrics.
  • Coordinate corporate training activities, including e-learning.

Job description

We’re looking for a Training Centre Co‑ordinator to provide essential coordination and administrative support to the Transportation Training Centre.

You will manage and maintain training records linked to the Centre’s various Awarding Organisation (AO) accreditations, including LANTRA, City & Guilds, DVSA, NPORS, NUCO, CABWI, UKATA, IOSH, TOPSET and CITB (Site Safety Plus).

Location

Nationwide – remote working with some travel to the office required.

Contract

Permanent Full‑time 37.5 hours per week – some flexibility on hours available if desired.

Salary

£28,000 – £30,000 per year + excellent benefits.

Responsibilities

As a Training Centre Co‑ordinator, you’ll support the effective day‑to‑day running of the Transportation Training Centre. This includes managing training records for centre staff, affiliated trainers and assessors; recording all training and assessments processed through the centre; supporting operations including promoting accredited training to supply chain partners and external clients.

Day to Day Tasks
  • Carrying out daily tasks relating to the recording, processing and uploading of training and assessment activity in line with AO requirements.
  • Supporting Transportation contracts with administrative queries relating to accredited training.
  • Being available to support for centre audits and standardisation meetings when required.
  • Compiling centre‑related data to generate accurate reports covering key metrics.
  • Overseeing and coordinating all corporate training activities including e‑learning, compliance related and developmental activity for all employees throughout their learning pathway.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Excellent administrative skills with a strong working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and MS Teams.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and confidently with staff at all levels.
  • Excellent organisational and time‑management skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
