Job summary

The Geotechnical Sub Alliance (GSA) seeks a Training Manager to lead all training activity for the Sizewell C project, ensuring a competent, compliant workforce across partners. You will collaborate with HR, Site Leadership, and delivery partners to embed consistent onboarding and qualifications management.

Responsibilities cover governance, planning, compliance and assurance, plus stakeholder engagement and team development to deliver safe, high‑quality training across the programme.

Qualifications

• CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent experience overseeing training in complex environments.
• Experience managing training compliance, records, and competence across a diverse workforce.
• Proven ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders, including partners and contractors.
• Experience in regulated or safety-critical large-scale projects.
• Experience supporting onboarding and deployment of large workforces.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the project’s training governance framework across all partners.
• Plan, coordinate and oversee training aligned to schedules and priorities.
• Ensure training compliance, qualifications tracking and audit readiness.
• Engage with partner organisations and HR to support onboarding and deployment.
• Lead the training team; manage priorities and develop capability.
• Identify training risks and drive improvements in processes and delivery.
