Job summary

EDF is seeking a Security Training Manager for Sizewell C to lead the development and delivery of training programs for the site security team. You will analyze training needs, coordinate internal and external courses, and ensure records are complete and compliant.

With a focus on continuous improvement, you will implement in-house curricula, manage stakeholders, and maintain documentation control while supporting HSE standards and vocational training delivery.

Qualifications

• Good standard of education in Maths, English and IT.
• A training qualification.
• Security professional with prior experience in corporate/CNI, Police or Military environments.
• Experience in training, needs assessments and delivery.
• Experience with basic project management.
• Strong H&S understanding.
• Experience delivering vocational and non-vocational training.
• Physical Intervention/SIA Training and advanced restraints training.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop the current G4S SZC training policy.
• Conduct training needs analysis and identify requirements across the team.
• Coordinate with Security Team Leaders to digitise and manage training records.
• Develop and deliver in-house training programs as needed.
• Coordinate and lead booking for internal and external courses from planning to completion.
• Deliver training to site security team leaders and supervisors in train-the-trainer capacity.
• Liaise with internal and external agencies for specialised courses.
• Develop individual training plans for identified personnel.
• Provide evidential training data to support compliance.
• Remain up to date with training best practices and innovate.
• Champion document control of pocket-book lessons and liaise with owners.
• Liaise with external/internal agencies for delivery of specific training.
