Well-Safe Solutions Ltd in Aberdeen is seeking a part-time Training & Competence Coordinator on a fixed-term 12-month contract. The role supports offshore assets and onshore teams, ensuring training and competence activities meet compliance requirements and drive continuous improvement.

Some travel to other locations or supplier premises may be required. The postholder must attend our global headquarters in Aberdeen and deliver inductions, reports, and CMS/TMS administration with a focus on

• 3+ years Training and Competence experience in oil & gas, ideally drilling.
• Experience using training and competence management systems.
• Ability to interact with personnel at all levels of the business.
• Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
• Methodical and organized with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communicator with enthusiasm and energy.
• Self-starter, proactive and willing to take responsibility.
• Proficient use of MS Office packages.
• Valid Offshore Survival/Medical
• Understanding OPITO CMS approval requirements
• Awareness of flag state safe manning requirements

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain relationships with training partners.
• Drive Training completion ensuring full compliance against the training matrix and recertification.
• Utilise Training Management System (TMS) to maintain records.
• Coordinate Flag Minimum Safe Manning documentation renewals and licenses.
• Support CMS development, ensuring stakeholder engagement and compliance.
• Carry out inductions for new employees into the CMS.
• Ensure Assessors and Verifiers are trained and in place to support the CMS.
• Produce regular reports on mandatory training and competency compliance.
• Support TMS & CMS platform development with the system provider and reporting.
• Attend industry Training & Competence forums and seminars to stay updated.

Job Title: Training & Competence Coordinator

Well-Safe Solutions, Aberdeen, though there may be a requirement to visit and work at other company locations or supplier’s premises as required.

fixed-term vacancy, 12 months

part-time (22.50 hours per week)

Reporting Line:

The Training & Competence Coordinator will report directly to the Culture and Development Lead.

Role:

The Training & Competence Coordinator will support and coordinate the delivery of training and competence requirements across the business, ensuring training and competence activities are administered effectively, compliance requirements are met, and continuous improvement initiatives are implemented across offshore assets and onshore teams.

Key responsibilities:

The Training & Competence Coordinator will be required to:

• Develop and maintain relationships with training partners.
• Drive Training completion ensuring full compliance against the training matrix including recertification on training, organizing onboard trainers where required.
• Utilising Training Management System (TMS) to ensure accurate, up-to-date records are maintained and fully accessible.
• Coordinate Flag Minimum Safe Manning documentation across all assets - renewals, newapplicationsand conversion of licenses.
• Support the ongoing administration and development opportunities of the Competence Management System (CMS), maintaining stakeholder engagement, supporting platform enhancements and monitoring compliance requirements.
• Carry out inductions for all new employees into the CMS ensuring they can access and use the CMS effectively.
• Support the Culture and Development Lead to ensure adequate Assessors and Verifiers are trained and are in place to support the CMS.
• Produce regular reports providing mandatory, overall training and Competence compliance for assets & teams where required.
• Support the Culture and Development Lead with the TMS & CMS platform development, working closely with the system provider s to ensure we maximise output from the system s , including, regular and accurate management reporting.
• Attend industry Training & Competence forums & seminars to ensure kept abreast of industry updates.
• Support Culture and Development Lead where required.

• Full compliance with the agreed Training matrix
• Enthusiastic engagement with CMS ensuring pro-active participation, quality input and timely achievement of required standards.
