Job summary

Kirklees College in Huddersfield is seeking a Trainer Assessor - Science to join our team. This part-time role is 18.5 hours per week across 52 weeks, with a salary of £18,010–£20,873 per year (FTE £36,020–£41,746).

In this role you will deliver placement planning, coordinate moderation with the awarding body, and upload evidence for each learner to the portal. You will keep regular contact with learners and employers, complete paperwork and help shape framework delivery including

In the role of Trainer/Assessor you will be required to deliver a placement planning session to prepare all learners for observation and structured observations as required by the awarding body. Your key responsibilities will be moderation organisation with the awarding body and the justification of evidence for each learner to be uploaded to the portal. You will also be expected to have regular ongoing contact with all learners & employers and to complete all the relevant paperwork and update all records relating to learner progress. In conjunction with the Head of Department you will input into overall framework delivery which may include apprenticeships, traineeships, HTQ's and any subsequent qualifications.
