Position involves providing security, guidance, interaction, and support to service users with complex needs within a residential setting, aiming to create an environment that caters to a person’s intellectual, spiritual, social, and emotional needs.

You will work with individuals placed into the care system for various reasons, with a range of disorders, behaviors, and needs. Therefore, you need to have confidence, patience, and skills to work effectively with these individuals and positively impact their lives.

In this role, you will support young people throughout the day with basic tasks such as meal preparation, cleaning, education, and shopping.

Please note that you are required to complete an enhanced DBS with Fulbridge Social Care and successfully finish one of our induction programs before placements are offered.

Main duties and responsibilities:

1. Build strong professional relationships with service users and staff.

3. Stay updated with all communication and information systems.
4. Attend and actively participate in meetings.
5. Support service users in managing their behavior using approved skills.

7. Protect service users from any form of abuse from staff, visitors, or other service users.
8. Write accurate reports for reviews and maintain written records for monitoring.
9. Attend all required training and be prepared to achieve relevant qualifications.
10. Attend work reliably and punctually, following a set shift pattern.

12. Ensure health and safety of yourself and others.
