Fulbridge Social Care is seeking dedicated individuals to work as youth support workers with young people aged 11 to 18 in care. This role involves providing essential guidance and support in various settings, fostering a safe environment and promoting positive life experiences. Full training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity, especially for those with relevant life experience.

We are in a unique position in that we can take on individuals who might not necessarily have the relevant qualifications and experience, as we have a dedicated training department that can train and support individuals to succeed within this role. We believe that some of the best youth workers are those with life experience who are just in need of an opportunity to work within the care sector.
You will be working with young people aged 11 to 18 who have been placed into the care system for various reasons, with a range of disorders, behaviors, and needs. Therefore, we require individuals who have the confidence, understanding, patience, and skill set to work successfully with these young people and make a positive impact on their lives.
This position involves providing guidance, interaction, and support to children and young adults within residential, educational, or independent living settings, with the goal of creating a safe environment that caters to a young person's intellectual, spiritual, social, and emotional needs.
In this role, you will be part of a team supporting children and young people throughout the day with tasks such as meal preparation, social activities, family contacts, education, and shopping.
We are looking for positive role models for the children and young people.
Please note that we seek flexible, reliable, and interactive individuals who want to work within a specialist environment. Full training and qualifications will be provided, including Team Teach, Child Protection, St Johns Ambulance First Aid, Understanding Sexualized Behaviour, Working with Self-Harm, Understanding Autism and ADHD, and Lone Work training.
A driving license is required, as you will need to drive the company car and take young people to social and educational venues.
Please note that you will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check or provide a portable DBS, and successfully complete one of our assessment programs prior to any placements.
