Fulbridge Social Care is hiring Trainee Residential Youth Workers for casual positions in Spalding, Stamford, and Holbeach. Successful candidates will receive nationally recognised training in a supportive environment, with the aim of transitioning to full-time roles after three months. This role involves working with young people exhibiting complex behaviours, facilitating their development and well-being.

The Trainee role is designed for individuals aspiring to build a career in the children’s sector who may lack experience or qualifications for full-time positions.
We offer training, development, and hands-on experience within Children’s Residential Homes, Secure Units, and Independent Living settings through a casual route, with the goal of transitioning into a full-time role within three months after relevant training and exposure.
Candidates should be committed to a career in this sector, as our clients are looking to offer temp-to-perm contracts to the trainees we select.
You will work with young people aged 11 to 19 who may display complex behaviours such as autism, eating disorders, sexualised behaviour, self-harm, aggression, and addiction.
A valid driving license is required, as you will need to operate the on-site vehicle for transporting service users to social activities and family contacts.
An enhanced DBS check must be obtained, paid for by the employer unless you are registered on the government’s online status checks.
Applicants must be 21 years or older, as per national minimum standards.
