We are hiring Trainee Residential Youth Workers

Locations: Spalding, Stamford, and Holbeach.

These are casual positions with nationally recognised training and qualifications provided to successful candidates. Full-time hours (37+ hours a week) are available for those seeking full-time employment.

The Trainee role is designed for individuals aspiring to build a career in the children’s sector who may lack experience or qualifications for full-time positions.

We offer training, development, and hands-on experience within Children’s Residential Homes, Secure Units, and Independent Living settings through a casual route, with the goal of transitioning into a full-time role within three months after relevant training and exposure.

Candidates should be committed to a career in this sector, as our clients are looking to offer temp-to-perm contracts to the trainees we select.

You will work with young people aged 11 to 19 who may display complex behaviours such as autism, eating disorders, sexualised behaviour, self-harm, aggression, and addiction.

A valid driving license is required, as you will need to operate the on-site vehicle for transporting service users to social activities and family contacts.

An enhanced DBS check must be obtained, paid for by the employer unless you are registered on the government’s online status checks.

Applicants must be 21 years or older, as per national minimum standards.
