Job summary

Pacifica is seeking a Trainee White Goods Engineer - Field Based in Norwich. No white goods repair experience is required, but hands-on mechanical or electrical experience helps. You will receive full City & Guilds training, a mentor, and a structured pathway to become a qualified engineer.

You'll visit customers at home, diagnose faults, perform repairs, and document job details using our software. A company van is provided, with private use optional, plus generous leave and benefits.

• Hands-on mechanical or electrical experience preferred.
• Comfortable using hand tools and solving problems.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain household appliances including washing machines, tumble dryers, fridges, dishwashers, and cookers.
• Visit customers’ homes to diagnose issues and perform repairs safely.
• Build on mechanical/electrical experience to troubleshoot on-site.
• Record and manage job details using our engineer software.
• Follow guidance from your mentor while building skills.
• Provide excellent customer service, explaining repairs clearly.
• Continue structured training and on-job experience to grow skills.

Salary: £26,500 to £27,000 - Salary reviewed once signed off training - Up to £50,000+ OTE

No experience in white goods repair necessary, but we are looking for candidates with previous hands-on mechanical or electrical experience and using tools. What You Will Do

• Learning to repair and maintain household appliances including washing machines, tumble dryers, refrigerators, dishwashers, and electric cookers
• Visiting customers’ homes to diagnose issues and carry out repairs safely and efficiently
• Building on your mechanical/electrical experience to troubleshoot and solve problems on-site
• Recording and managing job details using our in-house engineer software
• Following guidance from your mentor while building your skills and confidence
• Providing excellent customer service, explaining repairs clearly and professionally
• Continuously developing your technical skills through structured training and on-job experience
