Job summary

Pacifica is recruiting a Trainee White Goods Engineer – Field Based in Norwich. You will receive full City & Guilds training at our training centre and be paired with a dedicated mentor to become a qualified appliance repair technician.

No prior white goods repair experience is required, but hands-on mechanical or electrical skills are advantageous. Expect training, a company van, tools, and ongoing support as you start your career.

Qualifications

• Previous mechanical or electrical hands‑on experience is preferred.
• No experience in white goods repair is required but hands‑on skills help.

Responsibilities

• Learn to repair and maintain household appliances including washing machines, tumble dryers, refrigerators, dishwashers and cookers.
• Visit customers’ homes to diagnose issues and carry out repairs.
• Build on mechanical/electrical experience to troubleshoot on-site.
• Record job details using in-house engineer software.
• Work with a mentor while developing skills and confidence.
• Provide excellent customer service and explain repairs clearly.

What You Will Do

As a Trainee White Goods Engineer – Field Based, your role will involve:

• Building on your mechanical/electrical experience to troubleshoot and solve problems on‑site

• Continuously developing your technical skills through structured training and on‑the‑job experience
