Job summary

Pacifica is seeking a Trainee Domestic Appliance Engineer to join on a self-employed basis in Ipswich and surrounding areas. No prior white goods experience is required; full training will be provided to build your own self-employed business.

You will diagnose and repair appliances at customer homes, gain City & Guilds Assured training, receive ongoing mentoring, and benefit from weekly pay, tools & PPE supplied, and flexible full- or part-time options.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence required.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Mechanically or electrically minded and capable of learning field-based tasks.

Responsibilities

• Attend customer homes to diagnose and repair domestic appliances.
• Repair appliances including washing machines, dishwashers, tumble dryers, ovens, fridge freezers and microwaves.
• Deliver high levels of customer service at all times.
• Manage your own workload and daily schedule in a field-based role.
