Job summary

Pacifica is hiring a Trainee White Goods Engineer - Field Based in Northampton. This full-time role includes training at a dedicated centre in the North East of England, a company van, tools, and ongoing mentorship.

You will repair and maintain household appliances at customers' homes, developing your skills through on-the-job experience. No prior white goods repair experience is required; candidates with mechanical or electrical hands-on backgrounds are welcome and will receive extensive

• Full UK manual driving licence (no more than 6 penalty points).

Responsibilities

What You Will Do

As a Trainee White Goods Engineer - Field Based, your role will involve:

• Learning to repair and maintain household appliances including washing machines, tumble dryers, refrigerators, dishwashers, and electric cookers
• Visiting customers' homes to diagnose issues and carry out repairs safely and efficiently
• Building on your mechanical/electrical experience to troubleshoot and solve problems on-site
• Recording and managing job details using our in-house engineer software
• Following guidance from your mentor while building your skills and confidence
• Providing excellent customer service, explaining repairs clearly and professionally
• Continuously developing your technical skills through structured training and on-the-job experience
