Job summary

Halfords in Atherstone, Warwickshire, is recruiting a Trainee Technician for Halfords Commercial Fleet Services. You will benefit from a combined training programme and on-the-job experience to build expertise as a tyre technician for commercial vehicles.

You'll spend time at the Peterborough Training Academy, learn tyre fitting and repair with a dedicated mentor, and have opportunities for uncapped bonuses, overtime and on-call work after qualification.

Qualifications

• A full UK driving licence.
• A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn.
• Flexibility to work overtime and join an on-call rota.
• A practical approach and the determination to succeed in a hands-on role.

Responsibilities

• Learn specialist tyre fitting and repair across a range of commercial, agricultural and industrial vehicles.
• Gain hands-on experience with mentorship throughout development.
• Spend time at our Training Academy to develop core skills.
• Once qualified, benefit from an uncapped bonus scheme plus overtime and call-out opportunities.

• Monday to Friday 08.00 - 17.00, Saturday 08.00 - 12.00

• Spend at least 2 weeks at our dedicated Training Academy in Peterborough, with our expert Training Team.

• Once qualified, enjoy an uncapped bonus scheme plus overtime and call-out opportunities.

Please note that travel with likely overnight stays will be required during your initial training period.
